Type of battle: 2 vs 2 (one can only enter the competition in couples)

Registration: in email to the battle [at] urbandance [dot] hu with the details bellow:

• email subject: urban dance battle 2011 registration
• dancers full name and nickname
• dancers birthday
• dancers email address and phone number (with country code)
• dancers post address
• dance styles (which you will participate)

Registration deadline: 16th july 2011.

The process of battle: each styles pass of as separate battles. Should the occasion arise that more than 8 couples enter the competetion in a given style, then each couples will introduce themselves for the jury in a one and a half performance. Later the jury will choose 8 couples who will fight in 2 vs 2, by drawing out, in an elimination race. This will happen in 3 rounds (quarter final, semi final and final battles) until the winner couple will emerge. The dancer stand on A and B sides, and will dance 1-1 rounds in the semi final, 1-1 rounds in quarter final and 2-2 rounds in the final battles (each enters mean maximum 1 minutes). If the jury will decide to end the battle in a draw, then the dancers must dance until the decision is made to either side.

Jury: The foreign lectors of the Urban Dance Kemp

Reward: The winners of each category will win gifts from our sponsors and a certif.

Another reward will be given to the 'coolest' dancer of the battle (1 person) which means a VIP MEMBER CARD offered by the Urban Dance Team, (valid for 1 year) that covers a participation potential on each programs of the UD Team (dance school, workshops and camp).

Entry fee: 1000 HUF (it is free for the participants of the Urban Dance Kemp)

Afterparty: until dawn after the battle, the ticket entitles to enter the afterparty as well
